Getting your test results
If it is not possible to discuss outcomes with you immediately, your clinician will inform you on when you will receive these results.
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your SystmOnline account
- by phoning us on 01234 673 710 after 2pm and we will tell you what the results are
Please note our receptionists are not medically trained and can therefore only pass on what the doctor has told them.
Waiting times
- most blood test results are available in seven days
- most x-rays are available in a month
- cervical smear results are posted directly to the patient within eight weeks
If your tests were not requested by the surgery, please contact the provider directly.
